Lou Stein
Executive Director

Lou Stein, a native of Wheeling, WV, serves as Valley Venture’s Executive Director and Business Development Specialist. Stein brings with him to the position over 35 years of business development, job creation, and commercial real estate development experience resulting in 3,000 new jobs and over $150 million dollars in new commercial development.

In addition, Stein has also served as the economic developer for Monroe County, Ohio from 2000 to 2006 where he was instrumental in bringing in hundreds of full time career-level jobs into the county, helping many existing businesses expand, and assisting dozens of entrepreneurs start, own and operate their own business.

Bonny Bond
Administrative Assistant

Bonny was born and raised in Steubenville, Ohio and has lived in Weirton for the past 40 years.  She has two daughters and four grandchildren.  Before coming to Valley Ventures she worked for Camp Fire USA as Administrative Assistant and served on their Board of Directors.  Prior to that she worked at Ed's Quick Print for 23 years as a typesetter.

Valley Ventures Service Territory currently consists of the 4 county region which includes:

• Hancock County, WV
• Brooke County, WV
• Ohio County, WV
• Jefferson County, OH

Our mission is to assist existing business that need to expand their operation or to assist any entrepreneur who wishes to open his or her own business in this 4 county territory.

In the future Valley Ventures will be looking to expand its territory to include neighboring and contiguous counties in Ohio, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania.
